CEO - Pepe Christian Fruean

Christian Fruean has a wealth of telecommunications  industry experience joining Digicel Samoa in 2006 as Commercial Manager from the Government owned incumbent SamoaTel and subsequently took over as CEO of Digicel Samoa to oversee the launch of its services in 2006. Digicel Pacific launched its first GSM network in Samoa in 2006 and the company now operates in six markets in the region, with French Polynesia set to become its seventh live market.

Christian has been at the helm from start-up to its current position as market leader and has set the standards for network coverage, service and value has brought affordable and accessible mobile communications to both urban and rural communities. Christian holds a Bachelor Degree in Management from Waikato University New Zealand, a Masters of Commerce from the Australian National University (ANU) and is a Certified Public Accountant. Globally Digicel operates mobile communications services in 32 markets across the Caribbean, Central America and the Pacific.
